YSL BRINGS ITS TOUCHE ECLAT EXPERTISE TO CUSHION FOUNDATIONS
Some cushion foundations offer natural coverage; others offer full. This does both, while giving the signature YSL radiance too
You know that YSL Beauté can make you look radiant – its Touche Éclat concealer and foundation are genuinely iconic. And you know that it has mastered cushion foundations (cue the much-raved-about Encre de Peau Cushion, launched last year). So perhaps it was only a matter of time before the brand combined its two areas of expertise and created the Touche Éclat Cushion ($92).
What’s so special about this new cushion (aside from the unique square compact)? It offers a customisable level of luminosity and coverage, thanks to its advanced foundation, applicator and cushion.
The foundation is a new incarnation of the classic Touche Éclat. Like the others in the Touche Éclat family, it contains the brand’s "“magic light" concentrate, which combines golden pigments and hydrating liquid oil to enhance facial features and imbue skin with an overall radiance.
The customised finish is due to the clever bimaterial sponge applicator. Use the smooth side to sweep across skin for a natural, highlighted finish, and tap the flocked side on skin for flawless coverage. So you don’t have to choose whether to #hideorhighlight.
Finally, there’s the micro-net delivery system, which offers the optimum dosage every time, and also reduces the risk of leakage and evaporation. This means that it delivers just the perfect amount of foundation every time the applicator is pressed against it.
The result is a flawless look with a sophisticated strobe-like highlight. On the skin, the foundation also feels light, fresh and comfortable, thanks to its weightless liquid gel formulation. It’s easy to touch up on the go, and a pleasure to use. Bonus: The compact is dressed in elegant polished gold.
YSL Touche Éclat Cushion is available now at all YSL Beauté stores in Singapore.
