I’ve never been a fan of facials because I have sensitive skin and I tend to break out easily after using such products. But this mask was a complete exception.

The first thing that I loved about this face pack was its delightful fruity smell. I’m a big fan of natural-smelling products, and a difficult one to please as well. I hate it when something reeks of an artificial smell disguised as a “fruity fragrance”. So I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted with a gentle green apple fragrance that smelt so natural it was almost edible.

What really won me over was its texture. It was light and puree-like. Its smooth consistency made it easy to glide it all over my face evenly. Even though it was a rather thin gel, it held up pretty well on my skin and didn’t become slippery or messy. It had that wonderful “barely-there” feeling as I was able to put it on and go on with my work.

What followed was ten minutes of fruity bliss as the face pack worked its magic. It didn’t dry out, but kept my skin moist and refreshingly cool, without being overly tingly.

Washing it off with warm water was a breeze, and my skin said it all – it was smooth, supple and positively glowing. Up close, I saw that my pores had become much more refined and my blackheads were diminished.

Using this face pack in the morning was the right thing to do, as throughout the day after that, my skin stayed shine-free and considerably less tired-looking.
