WHAT: The new Lancôme Renergie Yeux Multiple Lift Eye Duo is an intriguing new product that is supposed to provide “six benefits” in two easy steps.

Lancôme says this product will make your dark under-eye circles appear reduced, your eye-bags appear reduced, your fine lines around your eyes will appear smoother, your eye contours will look more luminous, your eye contours will look smoother and your eye contours will feel firmer.

REVIEW: This eye care product comes with two formulas – a cream and an Illuminator, and I find myself charmed by the chic packaging. The top lid opens to reveal the illuminator and a mirror, which is great for touch-ups on the go, and the bottom unscrews to uncover the cream.

The cream is the first step, to be used day and night. I love the texture of the cream on my skin as it feels luxurious but yet quickly absorbs into the skin after some massage. Skin is left silky smooth with no trace of oiliness. It also has a soothing soft-floral scent. I use it before I go to bed and in the mornings, my eye area still feels moisturised.

Personally, my biggest issue would be my dark eye circles and eyebags. Over four weeks of religious use (paired with decent amounts of sleep), my eyebags are visibly less puffy in the mornings and my dark eye circles have lightened.

The pot on top is the Illuminator to be applied after the cream, for day use. It seems like a concealer but its formula is inspired by blemish balm base creams that gives a cream-to-powder finish.

Very light in texture, a little of this goes a long way. I love how it glides on easily and blends so quickly with my skin that there are no traces that it was ever there. It successfully fades dark eye circles and instantly brightens the skin around your eyes. So if you haven’t had your eight hours of rest, this is will immediately perk your eyes up.
