THE REVIEW: With Singapore’s humid weather and having to spend long periods of time out, I tend to look for makeup that’s lightweight and long-lasting for comfort and convenience. shu uemura’s Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation fits this bill perfectly.

The foundation contains a high concentration of water and active skincare ingredients which may be the reason behind its watery texture. The texture is perfect for my skin as it is treated to a refreshing moist sensation when I apply the foundation.

shu uemura’s Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation’s smooth feel and lightweight texture makes it possible to apply using your fingers and I found that even without a foundation sponge, it blended effortlessly and covered up any imperfections.

For heavier coverage, I layered on more foundation with both a foundation brush and sponge and was glad to find that there were no stroke marks left behind. Even with heavy coverage, my skin still felt comfortable and hydrated.

After 14 hours without touching up on a hot day with passing showers, the foundation did not fade which was great.
