The new commercial for Gucci Première starring Blake Lively has been unveiled, with the actress smoldering in the film inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour.

Hailed by the Italian label as "an invitation to embrace one's own red carpet moment," the short film was shot by Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn in the famously opulent Beverly Hills location Sheats Goldstein Residence.

Back in June, Gucci announced that Gossip Girl star Lively would front the campaign for its new scent, which is set to launch internationally this September.

Influenced by old Hollywood charm and inspired by the fashion house's couture line of the same name, Gucci Première eau de parfum features top notes of bergamot and orange blossom, a heart of white flowers and musk, and base notes such as leather and wood.

This isn't the first time Lively has nabbed a major fashion campaign: last year she appeared as the face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbag line.
