Nicole Scherzinger Take a closer look at these fuss-free press-on, peel-off nails

Nicole ScherzingerNicole Scherzinger has been announced as a representative for a new press-on manicure product that requires no glue.

Women's Wear Daily reports the X Factor USA judge and former Pussycat Dolls singer is the first spokeswoman for the latest product from American manufacturer Kiss Product Inc.

Scherzinger will appear in a full marketing campaign for the imPress Press On Manicure, which will be launched under Kiss's Broadway logo and offers a collection of press-on, peel-off nails that create a long-lasting gel manicured look.

The imPress Press On Manicure's absence of glue is being touted as a unique selling point as there's no need for removal products such as acetone.

Do-it-yourself nail care has become increasingly popular in recent years, with brands including Avon and Sephora launching self-adhesive manicure strips.

Last year nail varnish giant OPI launched the Axxium at-home gel manicure, which lasts three weeks and needs to be soaked off professionally.

Available in 18 colors and 18 patterns including zebra stripes and dots, each imPress packet comes in 12 sizes. Recommended pricing is US$5.99 for colored designs and US$7.99 for patterned ones.

The line will debut next month in US stores including CVS, Walgreens and Wal-Mart.
