Alexa Chung thinks there's "always something wrong" with the way she looks.

The British star is widely admired for her edgy dress sense and natural beauty, but insists she definitely has her off days.

Alexa feels insecure at times, but realises that no one is perfect.

"Well, I hate my ears, and my incredibly fine hair that goes flat despite hours of back-combing. I don't wear lipstick - it looks hideous on me - and I think I'm actually quite a boring dresser," she told British magazine more!

"In fact, there's always something wrong. Either my hair or my shoes or my bag."

Alexa walks the red carpet with some of Hollywood's most glamorous A-listers, and she tries not to compare her effortless look with those around her.

The stunning star is left feeling anxious ahead of such events.

"Red carpets are always so terrifying and such a surreal experience - you just have to hope you don't pull an ugly face!" she laughed.

"I don't think glamour is part of my remit and if you can't compete you may as well just go down a different route."
