Vera Wang and her husband Arthur Becker have separated after over 20 years of marriage.

Vera is known for her wedding dress designs, an area she branched into after finding it hard to get a gown she liked for her marriage to Arthur.

The business thrived and is now a multi-million brand, with the pair also having two daughters together.

Neither Vera or Arthur have commented on the divorce. A representative from the company released the following statement: “Vera Wang and Arthur Becker have mutually and amicably agreed to separate. They remain devoted parents to their two daughters.”

Vera and Arthur’s marital split is bound to get complicated. Both parties have invested in making Vera Wang the global success it is today.

While Vera provided the creative input, Arthur advised her on the business side of affairs as her designs took off.

A friend of the designer’s, who asked not to be identified, told WWD. “They will not let this impact the running of the company. They have worked too hard to build it up.”
