DKNY came out on top at the Fashion 2.0 Awards February 8, scooping both the Best Twitter and Best Blog by a Fashion Brand prizes.
Launched in 2010 by New York-based online fashion publishers Style Coalition, the awards honor the internet’s most pioneering fashion brands, with fans voting for their favorites ahead of a live-streamed ceremony.
To scoop the Best Blog prize, DKNY beat Alice & Olivia, Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff and Tory Burch. Other winners included Marc Jacobs for best website, the Prada Spring 2011 campaign for Best Online Video and Kate Spade for Top Innovator.
A special gong, the Fashion 2.0 Visionary Award, went to Gilt Groupe co-founders Alexis Maybank and Alexandra Wilkis Wilson to acknowledge their achievements in e-commerce.
The ceremony precedes this Sunday’s MyHabit.com Bloglovin' Awards, which will take place to recognize online fashion blogging talent from across the globe.
