As usual, fashion stars Kate Moss and Alexa Chung were among those who sat in the front row alongside editors from major international fashion magazine; but now Emma is now discussing the emotions she went through on the day.
“It’s a whole host of very strange emotions that range from relief to pride in my team, elation… but also I always get a bit like [pretending to cry]. It’s kind of like after your birthday party when you’re a kid, and you’re like, ‘Oh, what now?’ Fortunately the fashion calendar keeps rolling and there’s always the next,” she told Grazia Daily.

The collection was largely inspired by the ‘70s, with silhouettes kept free and easy. Trousers featured wide legs and skirts were kept long. Emma says she couldn’t resist harking back to the decade which means a great deal to her.
“I perennially dabble around in the '70s probably because I grew up in the '70s so it’s a very natural move. I identify to the cultural references and Mulberry was born in 1971 so it feels appropriate,” she explained.
“No [there wasn’t one person who inspired me], it’s a whole host of people or rather a state of mind. But it would be someone who mixes and matches pieces together and is feisty, sexy but a tomboy.”
