Tory Burch gets InStyle job Tory Burch doles out advice on her new column in InStyle magazine

Tory Burch gets InStyle jobTory Burch is penning a column for InStyle magazine.

The fashion designer will write an advice page for the monthly magazine, with her first work appearing in the July issue which hits stands next week.

Rachel Roy previously lent her expertise to the Ask a Designer column, which Tory is now taking over.

According to WWD, Tory’s first piece sees her giving advice about handbags and kaftans.

“To a 35-year-old woman with two kids looking for a timeless bag, Burch recommends Celine’s $3,250 Trapeze. Another reader wants to know what looks good on women with long torsos and short legs. A high-waist skirt or a kaftan, Burch answers,” according to the publication.

Another section of the page sees the designer writing about big name stars who have donned pieces from her collection recently. She will also be helping manage the magazine’s social networking Pinterest page which will be available to view at the end of this week.

It’s not known how long Tory will be involved with the publication. Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have previously penned the advice.

Tory Burch is located at #02-28 Wisma Atria.
