For starters, you’ll receive complimentary warm flatbread with roasted garlic and salted butter; if you love your bread, some of you might want to keep that for the stew later.

Then dine on a light and heartwarming cream of celeriac soup ($16). Cooked with jamon flakes and truffle oil, this unusual creamy soup has that sweet, savoury taste of the Spanish ham flakes, without being too rich in flavour.

Get your greens too with the zesty octopus salad available. Paired with Ximenez sherry vinaigrette, this salad of octopi, olives, chorizo and marcona almonds, this will make your meal just a bit more healthy; you’ll feel less guilty about that hearty pork rack.

Proceed on to the main course: a sweet and tangy broth of Catalan fish stew ($46) — think fresh snapper, clams, mussels and octopus, soaked in a hearty tomato base. Trust us, you’ll want to finish every drop of this fragrant stew; the crusty bread provided will have you savouring each mouthful.

A top pick, the Iberico pork rack is paired with blackcurrant mustard and is both tender and chewy; with a crispy edge too. Be warned though, that the portion is quite sizeable; it’s a main that may best be shared between two diners.

Don’t miss out on the churros: dip the cinnamon sugar-coated Spanish doughnuts into rich chocolate for that sweet finish to your meal.
