Any Singaporean foodie in the know will tell you that a bowl of chilled mango pomelo sago dessert, slurped up quickly after a meal,  is a delicious way to beat the heat.
 
The folks at Cold Stone Creamery, who make their ice-cream fresh daily in-store, have translated that clean, tropical flavour into premium ice-cream, with their latest Mango Pomelo Sago Bliss flavour ($6 for 4 oz or 120ml).
 
Creamy mango ice cream is topped with generous servings of mango cubes and juicy pomelo shavings, and everything sits nicely in a waffle basket. This tangy and smooth concoction is a great alternative to the more cloying, traditional ice-cream flavours like chocolate and strawberry, especially after a greasy meal.
 
Since it’s the Lunar New Year festive season, Cold Stone is offering a special Mango Pomelo Sago Bliss Festive Gift Package ($38). You’ll get 32 oz or 950ml of Cold Stone Ice Cream in any flavour you wish, including the new Mango Pomelo flavour. It also comes with two Mandarin oranges and eight red packets for that extra bit of luck.
