Oktoberfest celebrations might have ended in Munich on Oct 3 but the parties are still going on here in Singapore, so who are we to not join in? Whether it's beer, sausages or just the catchy German music that you enjoy, here are eight places where you can party like a true German.

Clarke Quay Oktoberfest

This is THE place to party this weekend, with two nights of German-style feasts, Bavarian music and good ole German beer.

Don't be a wallflower, take part in games on stage and show off your skills in Mug Pong and Bottle-Cap Toss. Snap a keepsake memory in the instant photobooth and, of course, enjoy jugs of Paulaner Oktoberfest beer.

Don't worry about lining your tummy before though, as you can indulge in treats such as crispy bratwurst and juicy pork knuckles here. And get into a jolly mood with Oompah band Die Dorf Fest Kapelle, who will perform festival classics and re-invent Top 40s hits with traditional Bavarian instruments.

There will also be Oktoberfest deals at various venues in Clarke Quay, including Harry's, The Pump Room, VLV Singapore and Privé.

When: 6 & 7 October

Where: Fountain Square, Clarke Quay

Siloso Beach

Oktoberfest on the beach? Well, why not? Singapore's most famous party beach goes German this weekend with its Oktoberfest celebrations.

Six beach bars that line the stretch of sandy beaches will be getting into the action, so pop into Coastes, Flame Bar and Mambo Beach Club, amongst others. You can also taste the 'original' Oktoberfest beer at Sapphire Pavilion, where there'll also be a special promotional food menu with dishes such as Traditional Pork Knuckle with Sweet Sour Cabbage and Gourmet Sausage Platter with Sauerkraut, Roasted Potato with Sour Cream.

And don't miss the games and activities, as you soak in the atmosphere with music performances by The Paulaner Musikanten.
