Sleep Disorders are a common ailment. They encompass patients who have difficulty falling asleep – insomniacs – to patients who have difficulty staying awake – snorers and obstructive sleep apneics.
The most common sleep disorder is snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Snoring is deemed as a social nuisance, it not only affects the unhappy bed partner's sleep quality and daytime quality of life, but also affects the snorer himself, as he has low oxygen at night due to stoppages in breathing and hence, stress to the brain, heart and lungs.
Patients who have obstructive sleep apnea may have snoring at night, they may experience stoppages in breathing, they may be noted to have difficulty breathing; during the day, they are excessively sleepy/tired, they have poor concentration and are often irritable.
This Snoring app may help you understand sleep physiology, sleep deprivation and the anatomical causes for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. It also highlights the different modes of snoring therapy and good sleep habits and comes with a Sleep Questionnaire so you can test yourself to see what sort of sleep disorder you have.

Sleeplessness or insomnia is by far the second commonest sleep disorder after snoring and obstructive sleep apnea; and the commonest reasons for insomnia are psychological causes. These range from stress and anxiety to depression.
The Asia Sleep Centre Insomnia app may help you understand sleep physiology, sleep deprivation and the various causes for sleeplessness. It also highlights the different modes of therapy and sleep hygiene.

CHILD SLEEP APP
Sleep Disorders in children are very common. They range from noisy breathing, snoring, bed wetting, sleep walking to night terrors. Sleep is a very important part of all our lives. We spend one third of our lives sleeping.
This interactive sleep app is for parents to monitor their child's sleep habits and patterns. The child's sleep profile and data is entered into the app and the results are logged in and analyzed. Based on the child's age and sleep norms, recommendations are made individually.
The interactive section in the “Child Sleep” app allows parents to assess their children’s sleep patterns and requirements, tailored to their age and school schedule.
