With forests disappearing by the acre every day, this exhibition becomes more meaningful. Australian trees, hundreds of years old and once part of the country’s railway system have been recycled into furniture, making them available for future generations to appreciate.

Jaguar Skills
We did think the name referred to a workshop teaching people how to drive the luxury car at first. It actually refers to a Brit DJ famous for dressing up as a ninja during his performances. Even with his identity masked, he’s still a sought-after collaborator and will be rocking Zirca with a mix of musical genres like hip-hop, motown, drum & bass and more.
Date and time: Feb 3, 9.30pm until late
Venue: Zirca Club, #01-02/03/04/05 Clarke Quay
Price: $16 before 9pm, $28 - $30 after 11pm.

Big Tease with Eclipse & Ghetto feat. MC Nara
Zouk’s coolest room is all set to tease your senses with hip hop artist MC Nara and tunes from famous mixmeisters like Diplo (he’s worked with Brit rapper M.I.A., South Korea’s GD&TOP, and is half of the duo Major Lazer) and German electronic music producer Boys Noize to ensure plenty of shimmying and shaking.
Date and time: Feb 4, 9pm until late
Venue: Phuture, Zouk Club
Price: $25 - $32. Log on to www.zoukclub.com/#/events/detail/3718 for more.
