We know it pays to be loyal, particularly when it comes to travel. Those of us who are frequent travellers return to our favourite hotel chains because of the quality assurance and the familiarity, but also because they allow us to chalk up points that translate to rewards like free stays.

But aside from benefits like free internet service, late checkouts and room upgrades or discounts, these brand-name hotels have introduced a few extra perks to sweeten the deal for their most loyal clients.
