- HWP PRESENTS
Fan of kitschy knick-knacks? Revel in sixties’ nostalgia and grab modern “retro” Asian-style home decor and more tongue-in-cheek novelties at Goods of Desire.
Located at Central in Clarke Quay, the lifestyle brand from Hong Kong has opened its first store in Singapore just last weekend.
Expect to see home decor, stationery, iPhone cases to even men’s boxers decked with playful captions, as well as prints of anything and everything Chinese-inspired at the flagship store.
Goods of Desire at Central, Singapore
It’s also a celebration of Asian cultures, albeit with a playful, modern update at Goods of Desire.
Co-founders Douglas Young and Benjamin plan to add Singapore-inspired items to the local branch next season. “We’ll love to work with Singapore designers,” says Douglas. “We want to create something authentic, and not just gifts for tourists.”
Yet to visit the store? Here’s a quick peek at some of the quirky finds at Goods of Desire.
