300g Pork Ribs
1-2 pieces Dried Scallops or Cuttlefish, cut into small pieces (optional)
100g Black Beans , rinsed thoroughly till water runs clear
6 Red Dates
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1. Blanch pork ribs in a separate pot of boiling water for about 2-3 minutes to remove scum.
2. Remove the ribs and throw the water away.
3. Place all ingredients in a pot and bring to boil. Then simmer for 2 hours. (Or in a slow cooker for 3 hours on high, or 6 hours on low) Serve hot.
