For parents of children of PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) age, the month of November is a nail-biting period ─ from jitters before receiving the results, to anxiety over eligibility for you and your child's preferred schools, to a mixture of pride and dismay when comparing grades with schoolmates and relatives.
While it's probably Singapore instinct to be kaypoh and kiasu, let's also remember not to get too carried away over how high or low the score is.
