11 famous Singaporeans share their PSLE scores

We asked well-known Singapore personalities like chef-owner Bjorn Shen of Artichoke, blogger Maureen Ow, radio DJ Denise Tan to share how they did for PSLE back in the days.

For parents of children of PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) age, the month of November is a nail-biting period ─ from jitters before receiving the results, to anxiety over eligibility for you and your child's preferred schools, to a mixture of pride and dismay when comparing grades with schoolmates and relatives.

While it's probably Singapore instinct to be kaypoh and kiasu, let's also remember not to get too carried away over how high or low the score is. There's still a long way for the young ones to develop their abilities and strengths. These famous Singaporeans are proof that success takes many forms, whatever the PSLE aggregate may have been.
