Korean star Rain, who married Korean actress Kim Tae-hee in January, revealed on a show that they only spent a little more than S$2,460 on their wedding.

“We got married after dating for five years,” he said.

“A wedding ceremony is about two people being happy. (Kim) suggested holding it in a church. She said she wanted something that didn’t have empty formalities or vanity, something that wasn’t grandiose. I wore a tuxedo that I already had.”

The photos were than collated into an album.

““I wanted to do everything for my wife. ... But taking out all the formalities, our wedding cost a total of a little more than 2 million won (S$2,460).”

Rain, 34, and Kim, 37, started dating in 2012, with news of their romance becoming public on Jan 1, 2013.
